Feeding frenzy

After watching the amazing and moving spectacle of Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral in the morning, we went sea fishing in the afternoon. It was perfect weather for it, being a bit overcast and not too windy. Friends D, L and A caught a lot of fish, although quite a few had to be safely returned to the deep as they were too small. N hardly got a chance to fish as he was busy helping the others to sort out any problems they had with their rods,  lines or hooks. I chose not to fish, preferring to monitor the fish finder and keeping an eye on our direction of drift so that we didn’t land on the rocks! The photo shows the gulls that gathered once word got out that N was gutting the fish on our homeward journey.
