Thank you Ma'am

A lovely funeral service today full of the pomp and ceremony that the British do so well. I was full of admiration for the pall bearers - what a responsibility and they were faultless. 

I thought the procession through the streets of London for the public to say farewell was a lovely touch. I bet the royal family were emotionally and physically drained at the end of the day with 3 services and all the other bits and pieces.  

Matt returned home this afternoon after a short weekend visit.  Kieran went to uni yesterday so once again it's just the 2 of us. It feels very odd as it's been a long summer.
