Another day, another garden job

Today, I finished cutting back all of the shrubs on this side of the 'new' fence so that Chris and I could paint it. Once cleared, Chris started one end and I started the other. We then did the 2 front facing panels just before the heavens opened and it poured with rain for a good hour.  I was gutted as the forecast was sun all day. 

The following day I looked at the panels and thankfully only one had really suffered from the rain. So instead of ticking another job off the list, I've added another one as the concrete panel underneath is now covered in streaky paint. Grrrr!

The extra was added later once I'd repainted the 2 front panels (25.10.22).  Ideally, I'd like to dig out all the roots and replant this mini garden as it always looks a mess in the summer.
