Trimming

Time to trim the lavender.

That caught the attention of a Robin. Once I was safely distanced - preferably out of sight - he/she came to investigate. A bit of disturbance by me might reveal a tasty invertebrate.

Another sign of the changing season. Three weeks ago the robins started to sing again. It means they are setting up territories for the autumn and winter. Unusually for European birds, females also sing and hold territories.
