Library visit

We are looking at our Local History with the Brownies and today we took them along to the library.
We started with a one minute silence , thinking of the Queen and all she did for Girl Guiding including being a Guide herself with her sister Princess Margaret a Brownie in a special unit set up at Buckingham Palace with some of her cousins and friends.She would have promised to serve the King, her father,
We took our new Promise altogether before going into the library.
The girls had a great time finding out behind the scenes information and how the books are displayed etc.
Catherine read them a story before we went home.
