Millefiori paperweight

I found this paperweight in a charity shop a couple of months ago not long after I bought my rug (by text, from a man in a field). It helps me out with a blip on a day when I have been cooped up indoors, metaphorically chained to my desk.

This morning I wrote an important email. This afternoon I worked on corrections to a journal article and attended an online meeting. It was interesting to find that another four people at the meeting are suffering from the symptoms of a cold - like I am.  (That said, I think that I have turned the corner now.)
