A Swallow Swinger

I had to take my daughter Karen to Metro Airport in Detroit. (60-75 minutes away.) She is visiting her friends in Charleston, South Carolina.

I had a couple options on the way back.
1. The Detroit Zoo...$14.00
2. Maybury Farm State Park...$2.50

I went to the state park. (Charlie Cheap surfaced again.)

On my FLICKR PAGE are some weird-faced llamas, some baby sheep, a sleeping pig, and a tiny horse.

But...the swallows took my tongue breath away. Outside the barn, they are in constant motion. It is hard to follow a swallow.

I think they come into the barn for some quiet time. They rest on their nest. They dream on a beam. Away from the dog-eat-dog to sleep on a log. They take nine on a line. And...they rest their tail on a nail.

A pretty little bird.
