Spiky

I love early mornings on the heath, the glistening cobwebs are everywhere you look. Indie's not interested she just wants to walk, getting impatient when I stop to take photos. Back to Mum's for a quick coffee before we attend a funeral in the village, the only time villagers get to meet up these days. Offspring like myself have left the village, so remembering names, recognising others is a bit of a challenge. A lovely service, a Robin singing away outside, throughout the whole service.
The engineer rang just as we exited the church, he would be with us in 45 minutes. The electric meter can be changed but the gas meter cannot be replaced without some alterations to the base of the kitchen cupboard where it is situated. We'll find someone to make the alterations then re-book a meter installation.
Visited hubby in hospital this afternoon, his breathing has improved, but he does'nt have much strength physically. He might be moved to Newton Abbot Community hospital, but there's no bed available at present. He'll get physio, & pulmonary care which he definitely needs. He won't listen to me.
Had phone conversations with both of his sisters today.... "He's just like his father". Like father, like son.....
I made a tasty gnocchi dinner, some fresh grapes from George's greenhouse for pud.
