2022 Wednesday — A Pathway

The construction crew arrived at 7:30 this morning. They have reached the top level of our backyard hill and they are just about finished building all the retaining walls. They are focused now on leveling the top to create a space for a deck/patio.

We headed out mid morning to drive to Cambria to talk to a man about a gas barbecue. So while we were in Cambria, we stopped to look at a very natural path/walkway that Mercado built 15 years ago (see photo); the path climbs a hill to a residence. It is beautiful. We look forward to the day we have foliage partially covering our walls, and we do realize that will take awhile.

When we returned from Cambria, the crew was gone to lunch. They returned awhile later and worked all afternoon.

This evening at 7:01 the crew drove away. They will be back tomorrow.
