Fleeting Glimpses

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

I had my nails done today*. I have only been to Millie’s a handful of times so obviously I barely know her.

But it was one of those odd snapshots in life where someone who isn’t a friend chooses to share something very personal with you because it’s easier to speak to a stranger than a loved one.

That moment stayed with me for the rest of the day and was a good reminder that a book is so much more than its cover.
