On the Lookout

Walked into Vannes along the estuary path & explored the old town centre - we actually totalled nearly 12 Km altogether, though there was a lot of stopping & looking & photo-taking. The narrow streets, high contrast light, together with the tourists, made it difficult to capture the painted timber-framed houses very easily, though I did manage some oddments of detail. I think the subject of the main Blip had spotted our Welsh springer, but didn't seem too concerned. The extra shows one of the street-level gargoyles on the cathedral - the main building was so vast & hemmed in by old houses that I didn't try to record the "bigger picture".
