Being crafty

The rained poured down all day, so a great time for doing some crafty stuff.  I haven't quite figured out how to do eco-printing at home successfully, but the process is great fun - a bit messy and smelly (the mordant is 1 part rusty water: 2 parts vinegar), a bit strange (roll the cloth up, wrap it with clingfilm, steam it in a microwave) - but who knew that fig leaves dye cloth yellow, and nasturtium flowers dye a shade of purple?
