Cheers
Up town to the Traverse as it’s the start of Autumn’s PP&P. We had the SK’s pal in tow and met R&E. Play review (Sally, about a version of Cabaret which she takes from the Highlands to Broadway): yes, very acceptable with plenty laughs which is what you want at lunchtime. As well as a pie and pint, obvs.
After, I bussed straight to Porto & Fi where wee Ruaridh was with his parents. Very happy and relaxed parents, it must be said. What a difference from last time round. No covid around helps (it’s still around but as it’s no longer shouted about, it’s disappeared).
Then off to a film - Funny Pages. I’ll have to admit that maybe I’m getting a bit old for coming of age and underground comics movies. Juvenile unfunny guff.
Then the diggers - Scotland banging them in while the pals got whiskies in for the grandson’s napper wetting.
Construct a sentence for the morning using both napper and banging…
