Equinox

It is the autumn equinox today, day and night will be of equal length and after which the nights will be increasingly longer than days. It would be nice though of all autumn days were like this - crisp and bright ! 

Today has been quieter (yey1) - a meeting of my u3a history group in which we planned our monthly meetings for the year. Members take turns in presenting a topic or we all research a given topic and share our findings. 

I walked back the long way afterwards across fields and through woods.  I then finished putting by summer clothes away and bringing out my autumn/winter clothes.
