WELL, HELLO THERE

Finally a warm sunny day. I expected the usual couple dozen geese on this pond, but there were only three today. Hopefully the females are nesting nearby - it's almost time for the baby parade. I liked the detail in the feathers and the fact that this guy is looking at the camera. (Okay, I know he's hoping I've brought bread crumbs or something.) Other shots may include a bit of interest but the eyes were not as clear - so this is the blip for today. Lots to learn about lighting as the water was much prettier (blue-grey) in other pictures, while it seems so green in this (although it wasn't really green.)
