Friendly young robin

This robin has barely developed his colours. He kept flying around our table and finally perched and posed! We had not had any food at all, just drinks, so maybe he just wanted company!

So today with the wonderful reversal of NI increases - now if you earn £20K you will be £93 a year better off. If you earn £100K you will now be £1093 a year better off! And limits on bankers’ bonuses are lifted, and the highest tax rate abolished. But it’s all OK because apparently this will stimulate our economy so I suppose, magically, that we will no longer need food banks, because with a stimulated economy food and petrol will suddenly become affordable!
