Cathcart

Attended the funeral of the wife of one of my friends this afternoon (a different one from that I alluded to yesterday). After the service at the crem. there was a Thanksgiving Service at the church she attended - Cathcart Trinity - followed by tea and sandwiches, etc. The hall in which we had our purvey had this magnificent dome which was too good not to photograph.

In other news, it was Friday night football at the Falkirk Stadium and the Bairns had an excellent 2-0 win in the Challenge Cup over the higher-ranked Partick Thistle. Good to have something to lift the recent gloom, if only for a short while.
