Long day

We ordered four new windows to replace the 40 year old drafty ones original to our condo. The other six windows had been recently updated. Each window usually takes about an hour to replace. So when the workmen arrived at 9 am I assumed they’d be done by 1 pm. Sadly they had no experience with such old windows and had to learn while on the job which lasted until 5 pm. So it’s been noisy chaos all day.
I will say the men worked very hard and apologized for taking so long, but they did a good job and cleaned up everything very nicely.
I got the furniture back in place and now have to figure out new window dressing. Yawn.
