Down the garden path
Leading from our holiday cottage, this path heads towards some of the many small sheds on the property. This area was once the local swimming pool in Railton, many years ago. I certainly would not be swimming today; the sky is covered with grey clouds, the wind is up and the whispery showers of rain tickle my face. Yesterday's frost has saturated some life from the plants along the path. The grapevines are very seasonally aware and are in the process of dropping their leaves. Fortunately the colours of autumn leaves bring light to an otherwise dull day.
