Last Night

One of the theatre groups I belong to celebrated 50 years of performances last night. It was a gold, glitz and glamour evening. Actually, it was canapés, Prosecco and some entertainment. My friends and I didn’t stay long but it was pleasant enough.
The theatre was started by a couple who had retired to the Isle of Wight for a quiet life. They bought a building that was once a Methodist church and over two years it was converted into a theatre seating circa 130.
