Glynde

My daughter is visiting for the weekend so we took the spaniel for a long walk on the South Downs. This is the view east from Mount Caburn overlooking the village of Glynde (home of Glyndebourne Opera) and Glynde Reach (a tributary of the River Ouse), with Firle Beacon in the distance. I spent most of the afternoon up at my son's house in Surrey. he has a small yard which he wants to turn into a garden so I've been removing the pea shingle and rotavating the ground.
