The Thames at night
Last night l went down to the Thames to see the reflections flotilla on the river. This is a charity event whereby 150 boats decorated with lights silently make their way down to Tower Bridge. I must say London was bustling, so many people out having a good time, it was great to see.
This night time scene of London is taken from the Millennium footbridge by Charing Cross and Embankment station, the (incredibly annoying) purple line in the middle is actually the top of Blackfriars bridge. The extra shows "Gloriana", the late Queen's row barge.
