Cocktail #36 of 50: Monkey Gland

Ok, not a good name - it comes from the work of a Russian doctor who grafted monkey testicles onto elderly men because it was thought the testosterone would increase their longevity!

Anyway by the same inventor of the Bloody Mary and the Boulevardier so we gave it a go…and actually it’s quite nice:

Double gin
1 measure fresh orange
1 tablespoon grenadine
Ice cubes
2 drops absinthe/ Pernod

Shake vigorously
