Trapped

A quietly uneventful day. The most interesting thing that happened was this wood pigeon getting stuck on the balcony. I was reading (Beryl Bainbridge’s Winter Garden, which is making chuckle out loud) so I’m not sure how long he/she had been there. According to the SSPCA website you are supposed to scoop it up if is still stuck after a couple of hours. I went for a run, to test out my toe niggle which was barely noticeable, although other twinges have emerged, and by the time I got back it had found it’s way out.
