Cheap Replacement

5 or 6 years ago I had to replace the battery in my car remote. They came in packs of 2, even though I only wanted one at the time. Recently, that battery has shown signs of coming to the end of its life, and today it totally failed to unlock the car (I had to use the key!).

I went to the cupboard where I had stored the spare battery, and there it was, exactly where I had expected to find it!

2 minutes with a screwdriver and the battery had been replaced and the remote had been tested. A no cost repair, which is what I like!

The battery had a use by date of 2025, I would expect it to last longer than that, it could even last longer than the car!
