CORSICA - DAY 12 - BASTIA

Well today was 80% rain with thunderstorms!!!
However we woke to sunshine!!!
The hotel is lovely but there’s no tea tray?!? We requested one last night though.
Had croissants & a cuppa for for breakfast in our room.
we booked room only accommodation and breakfast each day for both of us would have been nearly £400 extra!!
# # morning jacuzzi & swim …. Cloudy but still no rain.
Decided to drive into Bastia …. We drove over the mountains in cloud but arrived in glorious sunshine
#lunch in St Nicholas Square… walked down Napoleon Road to St Jean Baptiste church and..
#the marina…some lovely places to eat?!?!
Suddenly the beautiful blue skies turned black and the storm arrived …, torrential!!!!
But we were driving back….so lucky.
