Mermaid (Coralee)

We visited the Chatsworth Estate today for an outdoor sculpture trail -Radical Horizons: the Art of Burning Man at Chatsworth.

The main image is made of glass and metal scrap donated from the staff at Chatsworth and the local community. The sculptor is Dana Albany. I love outdoor sculpture.

The extras include:

Releve - is inspired by the Nine ladies Stone Circle in Derbyshire and is made of wood from felled trees around the estate.

Murder Inc. - 100 individually created crows by Charles Gadeken

Wings of Wind - a moveable winged structure created by Bryan Tedrick

Lodestar - crafted from the fuselage of a place by Randy Polumbo

The Flybrary - with flying books coming from the top of the head created by Christina Sporrong
