Gable End

Today's the day ........................ for a hanging garden

This fern is growing quite high up, on the gable end of our house - which, although you have to admire its tenacity - is probably not the best place for it to be?

In our defence, it is really quite high up, beyond the reach of Will's ladder and so we'll have to think of a plan of how to remove it.  In the meantime, it seems to have fooled some of the butterflies into thinking that it's a sort of Hanging Garden, where they can sun themselves in complete safety ......................!
