Keen gardeners

Drove down to the Walled Garden this morning to see if there were any runner beans ready. I thought I'd been down a week ago, but it was actually 11 days and I'd forgotten just how quickly they grew!

I picked over 8 pounds - see extra. Some of them were quite large, but far more than we could eat so more than half of them will go to Hope Kitchen tomorrow - they make soup out of the bigger ones.

On the way back I noticed a couple working on their garden - I always admire it as I drive by - so I stopped to say how much I enjoyed it and asked if I could take a picture - this is my Blip today.
