One of my favourite places

A visit to our local library today to return and renew my books. There was no point borrowing any more books until I can see better..  I’m planning to try some off the shelf reading glasses until I can get a proper prescription after the cataract in my right eye is removed which should happen in about four weeks time.

This afternoon we had our Classic play group and finished reading Gaslight.  I just listened and joined in the discussion but it was a good play and everyone enjoyed it.

I’ve just watched Only Connect and managed to get one answer right before the team which was very pleasing and then finished off my education by watching University Challenge.  Again I managed a few answers when I could understand the question!!

Anyway. a much better day today.
