Bargain specs

We went to our local Boots this morning and bought some reading glasses off the shelf.  They cost £15 so I wasn’t expected too much but I’m happy to say that I can read a little better so they will be useful for the next three weeks or so.

P has been back out in the garden doing more digging and tidying.  He picked a lot of Bramleys which I’ve cooked and will freeze. The tree must be  over 50 years old and every year we think will be it’s last but it keeps producing and we seem to be having a bumper crop.  More runner beans and tomatoes as well so all better than expected after the long hot summer.
