It might look like the severed finger of an Orc in the thumbnail, but no.

As you might have guessed, it’s a pine cone, but one that has spent time in the sea.

The generous shadows are a nod to the optional Shadows and Silhouettes theme for this week’s Tiny Tuesday, although I do appreciate that Mary (hello) is looking for photos that are just shadows and/or silhouettes.

As it happens, we are going (that way) on a short hop across the ditch to see friends and family in Australia and revisit some familiar places. I am hoping (and will do my best) to keep blipping all the while.
