Pale flowers

Thanks so much for the stars and hearts and lovely comments for yesterday's photo of Max and Lex. I love that photo and it is now the screensaver on my computer.

Because I had entered it incorrectly in my calendar, I showed up for my physical therapy appointment 45 minutes early. So I took a walk in the strip mall and found a cool spot to read and rest for a while. We did a lot of work on balance today, with me standing on a square of thick foam and trying to stay upright, sometimes with my eyes closed.  I rely mostly on my ankles to maintain my balance, although other people might rely on their knees. 

Because I'm having some severe lower back pain radiating into my left hip, Anthony set me up with a heat pack after my session was over.  I felt quite a bit better when I left there. If only the pain had stayed away...

Tomorrow I go for my Hepatitis B vaccination.  Since tests show I have no antibodies to either Hep A or Hep C, other shots may need to follow. But that is in the morning and I will have the rest of the day to do other things.
