A New Outlook

When I started coming to the Cottage in 1970 there was a fair view of the sea but in the intervening years we have lost it because of trees to the side of us.
Now the property next door has been bought by people who are putting in a fantastic effort to improve the lovely house and garden, including dealing with the huge trees and mighty rhodies. The photos are taken from the same upstairs window. For about thirty years we have had no view of the sea to the left of the very tall conifers and although the tallest ones haven't been felled yet, we are beginning to recall how things used to be!
