Sunny Stroll

One bright sunny day and luke warm temps just right to ask my mum out for a walk and enjoy this all ~ up till a year ago she'd go out by herself but now 'forgets' to take such initiatives as Alzheimer is kreeping in on her. I was glad she happily accepted my invitation and so we took to the dunes & beach for a wallk andto the promenade where we fully enjoyed the warmth of the sun in seats behind a windscreen.
Change in mum's perception is noticable as she takes in more the detail than the overall view; it's like she no longer dashes forward like in old times when she was multitasking always.
Walking & talking come at a different level too and she's accepted that amazingly tolerant. I'm very glad she manages to orientate herself still in many ways altho' not in all ways anymore.
Today's walk was like a gift to us; we enjoyed it a lot.
We greeted painter Kees who had opened up his atelier again in the dunes.
