Goodnight Ma'am

A bit of an odd day.  The day of the funeral, but also our wedding anniversary.  

We started with a short walk in and around Bude then back to the flat to watch the main body of the funeral service.  While the Queen was driving to Windsor we set off on a long circular walk to the south, via the canal to Widemouth Bay, and back along the coast path; pausing to watch the committal on the phone, whilst overlooking the glorious scenery.

Our plan had been to get back to Bude at around sunset.  This required a certain amount of lounging around as we'd walked quicker than expected, but then I finished off with some sunset piccies while E had a paddle.
