The Old Man

A very short night in our luxury apartment as neither of us slept well with alarms set for 04:30, but awake well before , we were 2nd in the standby queue for Uig ferry. It paid off and we are now on Skye! Never been somewhere with such changeable weather ! We’ve had rain sun and rainbows all day long.
First we went to Dunvegan Castle, home of the Macleod clan, and beautiful gardens where we wandered through the woods , and then had a lovely lunch overlooking Macleods Tables .
Then a scenic drive up the east coast as far as Kilt Rock, passing The Old Man of Storr rock formation and Leath falls.
Now at the B and B chilling before dinner and a relatively early night.
