Tuesday: 2 Types of Cotoneaster …

… and a Hoverfly, maybe? It was happily resting on a well munched kale leaf, beautiful wings and I didn’t want to disturb it. If you can identify it, I’d be very happy!
After heavy rain overnight we had a mostly dry day - I’d driven to the Co-op at LlanfairPG, found some of the items on my list and had planned on going down the A5 to the garden centre BUT when I got outside it was raining steadily so I headed home :-((
Of course it wasn’t raining there …!
The cotoneaster will be a good food source for the birds when it gets really cold.
