Murphy On A Mission

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

People on our walks now comment on how unusual it is to see a dog eating so many apples.

Man on bench: “What is your dog eating?”

Me: “Apples”

MOB: “My dog doesn’t eat apples, just grass.”

Me: “He eats grass too. Also berries. Anyway…” as I realise Murphy is on apple no 4…“I’d better get him away from this tree.”

I put Murphy on the lead and wandered off as MOB was joined by a friend on the bench.

And they both got to watch as Murphy wrestled himself out of his collar and ran back to the tree. They also got to see me get my hair caught in a branch, trying to get to him (whilst mumbling something about every minute of training being a complete waste of time).

I’m going to go back to the Hermitage with a chain saw…
