The Reigate puzzle for me was why anyone would ever want to go there. It is all traffic jams, nasty roads, crowded streets, Tory voters and dodgy drivers.

Not only did I get there late, none of the tech and support offered to us materialised in any meaningful way. The meeting was something of a disaster as a result, particularly for those attending virtually.

The building we were in was huge and labyrinthine. It had some dodgy fixtures including this large rock and a receptionist who looked as fierce as a Rottweiler and as constipated as someone who had fallen asleep sitting naked on wet concrete.

As a result I had no concentration. The journey home was similarly awful with the M25 more like Death Race 2000 than a motorway.

I am glad that day is over.
