A Short history Of Tractors In Lithuanian
Here is the same view this morning.
A few hours, 300+sq m of turf and a very tired D later and we have a bit more grass to play on.
The Turf delivery bloke was really helpful, gave me a lot of advice which was mainly, get it down quickly, get the sprinkler on and sort the little lumps and bumps out later.
I have enough left to do a few more bits tomorrow, I really hope it does not all die now!
I had word from the guitar technician, it seems my old Epiphone Sheraton Semi is now worn to the point where it needs a refret. As it has a binding on the neck this is an expensive job, £250+, sadly it is just not worth it. He has done what he can so it will be usable for a while yet but I think it is time to start saving for something new.
I neglected to mention, the mower went. A fella from Lithuania turned up and seemed quite pleased which was nice. He had a van, I asked him if he had ramps, he said no, I said I had some should I get them, he said no. We then lifted the bloody thing into the back of the van! Nearly crippled me. Anyway I got the cash so it all worked out. Hopefully now it is on its way to a new life in Lithuania.
