2022 Wednesday — at the Top

In this photo it’s very early morning. Our construction team arrived at 7:35 a.m. They are now working on the top level of our backyard hill.

By the end of the day this scene looked considerably more finished, but I did not get outside late in the day to capture a photo.

About 6 days ago I started asking Mercado, our contractor, if they could be finished by the last day of the month. I realize now that I should have started asking that question about the 15th of the month because I don’t think this is going to be wrapped up by this Friday.

Once the Allen Blocks and the fire pit bricks are all in place, the flower beds will need to be planted. Then I think we will be almost ready to stamp “Finished” on this enormous job.
