Home from home

This plaque is on the house next to our B &B last night. We had a lovely final evening , with a delicious Italian meal. We left Dumfries about 9 :30 and stopped for lunch just off the M6 at a farm shop in Alsager so we could get food for tonight… as my plan to arrive home to a well stocked fridge has gone awry due to my partner coming down with covid at home but not able to shop - a souvenir of his trip to Riga? Did wonder about staying away longer :)
We got back to my friend’s house about 3:30 and I was home to the house of plague about an hour ago. Unpacked , first load of washing on and looking forward to a quiet night in on my own as he’s banished to different rooms until he tests negative!
