Calm before the storm (Day 2701)

I got eaten alive by midges this morning at my first job of the day. Better that I suppose than being soaked to the skin while working outside repairing a broken waste pipe. The second job was changing a kitchen tap in St. Ola before heading into town to sort a dripping tap.
Home later than I hoped, I headed straight out for a wander with Sigyn. The weather was good enough I didn't need a jacket. Home again for a very late lunch and a brief catch up with  my beautiful wife, then out again to deal with another broken kitchen tap. Typically, despite having several different types of kitchen tap in the van, I didn't have the right one, so I had another trip to town to collect a suitable replacement. With the tap changed, I headed home to do some paperwork before dinner.
Apparently tomorrow we will be battered by gales and torrential rain.
