Cloud Flare

To begin with the sky was showing only slight touches of colour and was mostly uninteresting and cloudy. But, from behind the trees the sun shone up into the clouds lighting up the sky with an orange glow. The light reflected off the lake (see extra: Lake On Fire) producing alternating orange and blue stripes as the ripples rolled in to shore. Soon, the light levels dropped further, the glow diminished, leaving wispy bits of cloud to catch the last drops of the sun's rays, giving me the main image.
