Good neighbours

These two pots look good side by side. I thought I had lost the begonia during the very hot weather. Although I kept it watered, it lost all its flowers and looked very sorry for itself. However as soon as the rain came it recovered and now looks as good as ever. The tough old fuchsia wasn’t at all affected by the difficult summer.
It was chilly when I went out to get my photos, and since then a steady rain has set in. Norman has been playing golf but they finished their round before the rain.
