Five hours from home to North Wales, including a stop, was pretty good. The weather for the boring motorway bit was lovely, then it started raining as soon as I turned off. 

There are two roads to get to where I'm staying, the fast A road or the pretty, narrow, up a hill and down again, scenic, B road. My satnav took me the latter way. Luckily I'd been that way before and it would have been lovely if it wasn't horizontal rain and a gale blowing.
