At the end of the day

What a day - about 70mm of rain (almost 3" in old money) - it just never stopped, until I picked Deb up from work and we got home; interestingly, this same day last year had just the same weather. Just before I left for the camera club, the clouds parted and we were treated to a few minutes of the most intense sunbeam activity. I though this, with the sunbeam hitting the church, was pretty special.
