For Those Who Served

Today was another crowded day at the Warhawk Air Museum. Lots of people came out to see the P-38J Lightning, P-51 Mustang, P-40E Warhawk, and T-28 Trojan. Mostly, though, to see the P-38J, one of only 3 P-38's currently flying in the world. Today also brought out more P-38 pilots and their families, who posed for pictures and told their stories.

I wish I would have gotten more photos of veteran P-38 pilots who attended the event, many of whom may not live to see another P-38 in person.
