Prize Draw Day
B, H & I went along to the fundraising 'Prize Draw Day' at the Langham Dome Museum this morning. The winning tickets were drawn by General Lord Dannatt and his wife, the Lady Dannatt, the Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk. There were various vintage civilian and military vehicles on display, WWII Re-enactors, and a couple singing songs from the 1940s (see extra).
The weather was lovely (especially as we'd had a great deal of wind and rain the evening before) and it was all a great success.
The Dome is a WWII anti-aircraft gunnery training facility, the only in the UK that has been restored and is now a museum, this can just be seen on the right of the photo. The Spitfire is a full-size replica and works wonderfully well as an advertising sign for the museum.
